A New Approach Uncovered Through Hair Analysis: “ClearStrand® ASD”
YAC BIO INC. has begun offering ClearStrand® ASD, a hair analysis technology developed by LinusBio in the United States.
This initiative has been realized as part of a business partnership aimed at promoting the social implementation of advanced biotechnology, with the goal of expanding the use of new developmental assessment methods in Japan.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects communication and behavioral characteristics. Early identification and appropriate support are considered highly important.
However, conventional assessments rely primarily on behavioral observation and interviews, which have led to challenges such as:

ClearStrand® ASD analyzes information such as trace elements accumulated in hair, offering a new perspective on developmental characteristics.
Hair reflects the body’s internal state over time and features:
- Non-invasive (painless) collection
- Ability to be mailed
- Retention of long-term biological information
