Advancing the Medical Field and Improving Health
This business group consists of two companies: YAC ELEX, which manufactures medical and disaster prevention products, and YAC BIO, which contributes to society through its proprietary fully automated hair slicers and bio-blood markers.
The number of people suffering from chronic diseases is increasing not only in Japan but also in emerging countries, and the need for medical equipment is growing in response. We are taking on the challenge of developing new dialysis machines while steadily increasing trust in medical equipment, which requires safety and security. In addition, we are striving to realize and monetize a new testing system that will pave the way for early detection and early treatment of diseases such as dementia and autism, which have become a growing concern of the public.
YAC ELEX was founded in 1947 as Bon Denki, and since its establishment, the company has consistently grown as a development-oriented company that responds to the needs of its clients and users. Currently, we manufacture and sell a wide variety of products, including disaster prevention and security equipment utilizing the latest electronic technology, label printers and labelers using mechatronics technology, and medical equipment such as dialysis machines by integrating these technologies. In recent years, the global demand for dialysis machines has been increasing, and our dialysis machines have been highly evaluated by overseas medical institutions as easy-to-use dialysis machines.
In 2022, we entered into a business alliance agreement with Linus Biotechnology Inc. of the U.S., and will expand our business with our core technologies of fully automatic hair slicer machine and fully automatic hair mounter machine (collectively called “SAMURAI”), which we jointly developed, and fully automatic ultra-sensitive immunoassay system using blood markers, which we independently developed, “NeuroDetect”. We will expand our business with our core technology, “NeuroDetect”, a fully automated ultra-sensitive blood marker-based machine.
